Our custom flour blends are completely nut-free, making our kitchen a safer place for those navigating food allergies and sensitivities.

We understand how isolating food restrictions can feel — whether from allergies, health concerns, or lifestyle choices. Our mission is to create delicious, allergy-friendly, and nourishing baked goods in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

A word from Chef Shalese:
I learned to bake when I was young. During difficult seasons, flour was always there — affordable, dependable, and full of possibility. Baking became a way to care for myself, and over time, it became a way to care for others.

The more I baked, the more I loved sharing what I made. There is something powerful about a loaf of bread pulled fresh from the oven — the warmth, the aroma, the way it brings people together. In college, baking became therapeutic. Sharing simple loaves with friends made our futures feel a little brighter, and somehow even humble ingredients felt special.

Today, my dream remains the same: I want people to experience joy in food without fear. Chez Shalese was created to be a safe, welcoming space where everyone can gather and eat well. We are committed to making baked goods that are not only allergy-friendly, but also nutritious, wholesome, and accessible.
